2016 model of Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has been released. It is a complete revamp to match Toyota’s revamp of its Toyota Fortuner SUV. Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is a mid-size Sport Utility Vehicle SUV that competes directly with Toyota Fortuner SUV.
Mitsubishi released 2009 model of its breakthrough SUV Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2009 in the Moscow show in September 2008 and since then it has created its own niche. Release of Toyota Fortuner 2009 started an interesting match between the Titans for supremacy in the SUV segment. Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is a SUV or PPV in the same class as Toyota Fortuner or Isuzu MU-7. When Mitsubishi decided to retire Mitsubishi L200 Strada in favor of Mitsubishi L200 Triton in 2005, it also retired G-Wagon the PPV or SUV based on Strada. Mitsubishi fans were waiting for an SUV to be released and they had waited three years and their wait was well rewarded with a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV. Pajero Sport has the same four wheel drive system as Mitsubishi Pajero.
The Pajero Sport (Montero Sport in Spain and Shogun Sport in the UK) is the perfect car in town and the perfect car to get you away from it. This sports utility vehicle offers the all-round flexibility that the modern executive demands. It is stylishly elegant, yet rugged enough to appeal to your sporting instincts.
The Pajero Sport is based on the ladder-frame chassis from the Triton, and it used 2500 cc and 3200 cc Triton engines. It is offered in 5 and 7 seat variants, but the Thai model is 7 seater, to match up to competition from Toyota, Isuzu and Ford. Now it is only available in 2500 cc engine and no longer in 3200 cc engine.
